Tyler - Class of 2017

Can it really be possible? My oldest nephew is a senior in high school! Where has the time gone?
He has grown into such a handsome and caring young man! I love that I get to call myself his aunt.

This was a fun spot. Given the right perspective, it stated his name!

Congratulations Tyler!

Second Shooting - Nadine & Sherman

On one of the hottest days in July, I had the honor of second shooting with Amber Barckholtz of AMB Photography & Design.

This day was a lot of fun, in spite of the heat. The groomsmen were a blast and made my time with them so enjoyable. They were a great bunch. (And yes, they were in full scottish garb!)

The ceremony was a beautiful backyard affair!

The reception was at the same location and was an array of beautiful touches.

During the dancing, you could feel the love these two held for their parents as well as for each other. It was a beautiful evening and enjoyed by all.

Bailey Wedding

The beginning of July, I had the privilege of photographing my mother's second wedding.

It was an intimate ceremony with just a few people in attendance followed my a small reception.

It was such an honor to be there for the whole day. I am so excited for my mother and what her future holds.

ShutterFest is over but not quite...

After Shutterfest, we slowly headed down to Cuba, Missouri. There we attended a wonderfully put together group shoot. Bob's Gasoline Alley was an awesome backdrop for some epic photos. We enjoyed the morning shooting and enjoyed a wonderful catered lunch before heading out on the long journey back home to Michigan.

Some of the beautiful classic cars that were brought in for us to use in our set-ups.

This day was filled with fun. Taking on new perspectives and letting the creative side flow.

Taking behind the scene shots were as much fun as shooting your idea.

Here I even ventured to play with my off camera flash and fell in LOVE with the results!
